Bulgarian Archaeological Association

Bulgarian Archaeological Association is a non-profit organization set up in Bulgarian in the beginning of 2000. Our team consists of young people students and specialists of Archaeology.

The main goals of the organization are to work for the protection and popularization of the historical and cultural heritage in Bulgaria and the region. Bulgarian Archaeological Association creates and implements projects and programs that aim stimulation of the scientific, research and cultural activity of young specialists in the area of archaeology and cultural history. Our efforts are pointed towards a broad circle of problems, connected with the development of the culture and scientific work in the environment of the civil society.

The main functions are:

- To work for popularization of cultural and historical monuments in Bulgaria and in the Balkans.

- To stimulate research and publishing.

- To organize and coordinate cultural and scientific activities in Bulgaria and neighboring countries (For example: archaeological researches, the regional and international production of publications, the archaeological exhibitions etc.)
